ABOUT SUSAN “ROSE” FORD

Susan “Rose” Ford believes in the power of words. She began writing at a young age and enrolled in advanced placement literature courses in high school. Susan earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Michigan State University. She holds cognates in Professional Writing, Business, and Theater.

Susan’s writing career began with freelance writing. She produced search engine-optimized content that resonated with readers and yielded tangible business results for her clients. Susan’s articles consistently maintained high placement on Google search engine results with many ranking in the top 5.

Susan’s debut Christian living/memoir “Beyond the Parentheses” was well received, winning multiple awards. She is currently writing the sequel, “From Shards to Shalom.”

While writing has always been part of her life, Susan also built a successful leadership career in business operations. Her 15+ year business career highlights include corporate buying office experience with a Fortune 500 retail company as well as strategic executive assistance for C-suite and high-net-worth individuals.

Susan “Rose” currently is privileged to work as Director of Operations for a SaaS (software) company alongside a global team of passionate, conscientious individuals building products like web accessibility tools and customer reporting dashboards + automated operations workflows and AI integrations that help small businesses succeed.

Rose also volunteers as Director of Operations + Spouse Peer Support Specialist for Convergence: a faith-based Veteran’s support non-profit.

In her episode titled, “From Legalism, To Atheism, To Grace,” Susan shared her story of spiritual trauma from growing up in a legalistic Independent Fundamentalist Baptist (IFB) church.

This  trauma led her into atheism, but the grace and love of God operating through her husband, brought her back to faith.
